More Please

"I really liked the way every chapter ended on a cliff-hanger. When can I have the next one?"

Impressively Different

This is a captivating story and very different to other children's books currently on offer. With dragons, wizards, and elves flooding the children's market each month, this is sure to stand out from the crowd. An impressive imagination, in a book filled with great sci-fi ideas, gadgets, and aliens, truly bringing Mervyn's world to life. Characters have as much focus as plot, and the story is all the better for it. Mervyn is a great hero with a great heart, supported by an unlikely but loveable group of friends. I found this fast-paced with a good flow of events. Tension builds well throughout the story towards a tense and powerful climax. An ambitious book that both children and adults can enjoy.

Compelling

"I was up until gone midnight reading your darn novel, and I was late into work this morning because I just had to finish it."

Descriptions

"I love your descriptions, especially the Ureg trees jostling for position to get the most light."

Awesome

This is a awesome and easy read! I am such a Starwars and Star Trek fan; this story seems to be a bit similar as far as fantasy space goes. I loved the characters, I think that its noticeable that he has such a strong, vivid, and lively way of opening this tale for readers. I couldn't stop reading it! I think my favourite is of course the hero Mervyn. As I read each page I felt as if I was right there with the characters! And you see as Mervyn struggles and gains friends. Wonderful work. I hope that this story will continue on so I may see this series of adventure and friendship come to a full bloom! It takes you through space and into dangerous situations. It gives hope even at moments that seem without. Each character gives some importance to the story and becomes close to your heart. Perfect kind of story for kids to enjoy! Worth the time of reading! I am sure I will buy it! Evie
